24-26 April 2009 has been announced for this annual event that started in 1980 and attracts around 120 reservists every year to the Redford Barracks in Edinburgh. Forty teams of three, approximately half from overseas and half from across the UK’s reserve forces, compete in pistol and rifle shooting and other military activities over the course of a weekend.

The Army and the RAuxAF take it in turn to run the rifle ranges, with support from the RNR in running the pistol range, and accommodation is provided in the Barracks.
