Welcome to the UKRFA website

MILCOMP 2007Welcome to UKRFA.org - the website of The United Kingdom Reserve Forces Association

The United Kingdom Reserve Forces Association is a tri-service organisation, with membership open to individuals of any rank who have, or who have had, a reserve commitment or have served with the UK Armed Forces. It is part funded by charitable donation, membership subscriptions and Service grants.

Membership is open to both individuals and units of the British Reserve Forces, the Cadet Forces and to Civil Defence Organisations.

The UKRFA is recognised by the Ministry of Defence and is part of the International Confederation of Reserve Associations.

The Secretariat acts as a point of contact with its NATO counterparts, coordinating exchange training, competitions, NATO course applications, and events run with other international organisations with similar interests. 2009 AGM and Annual Dinner Postponed

This year's UKRFA Annual General Meeting, due to take place on Saturday, 5th December, has been postponed until further notice. Additionally the UKRFA Annual Dinner taking place the same day has also been postponed. Alternative arrangements for both events will be promulgated in the New Year.

The UKRFA Accounts for 2008/09 are available from Holderness House on request and will be approved formally at the earliest possible opportunity.

 

Competition report: 5. Internationales Basler St Barbara Schiessen 2009

On the 16th of October 2009, a party consisting of 14 members of the Maritime Reserves (MR) flew to Basel in Switzerland to attend the 5th International St Barbara Shooting Competition, based at the Militärkaserne in the nearby town of Liestal.
